PhD Student in Machine Learning & AI
Ridwan Bello is a PhD student specializing in Machine Learning, Speech Recognition, and AI Ethics. His research focuses on African speech technologies, bias in machine learning models, and developing scalable AI systems for real-world applications. Ridwan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and has published work on accented speech recognition and fairness in AI.
He has contributed to projects on speech processing pipelines, neural network optimization, and has experience with industry collaborations on natural language processing. Ridwan is passionate about democratizing AI for underrepresented languages and communities.
Beyond research, he enjoys teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to open-source ML projects.
